This year 2025 we have two jubilees:

The Dojo in Uffing, which is the headquarter of our association, has existed for 25 years and our association has existed for 10 years.
This needs to be celebrated on the seminar in October!!

The seminar starts 10am on Saturday, October 4^th and the ends 12am on Sunday October 5^th 2025.
Participation fee EUR 15 per person
Saturday night big jubilee event in a Bavarian “Gasthaus”.

Our international BUDO seminar in Guildford UK 2024

Ryszard Jozwiak became 10th Dan after many years of active and pioneering work in Poland
it was awarded by the Board of Yudansha of the European association “Isshindo Kan Europe”.

2023:

27th of May:
After 61 years of Budo activities, Dietmar Schmidt was awarded the 10th Dan in Zendo Ryu Karate Do / Karate Do on May 27th, 2023 in Amarinthos / Greece by the Board of Yudansha of the European association "Isshindo Kan Europe". The certificate was presented by Ryszard Jozwiak 9th Dan.
Marios Kontozi was awarded the 7th Dan Shotokan Karate.

2022:

25th of September 2022:

This was the 4th weekend for our “instructor seminar” in Athens. All of the participants got the instructor license for Zendo Ryu Karate Do. In the future these 8 new Instructors will teach in Athens...congratulation.

Sarantis makes a very good job and good luck for him with his four Zendo Ryu Karate Do Dojos in Athens.

2nd of July 2022:

I would like to welcome Ryszard Jóźwiak 9.Dan the head of Kempo Tai Jutsu School in Poland to Isshindo Kan Europe federation. From the very beginning Ryszard was one of the pioneers of the Budo scene in Poland. Isshindo Kan Europe is sure that our cooperation and his experience will be helpful for all of us.

We would also extend our warm welcome to Ryszard’s clubs and members that joined our organisation.

JUBILEE for Dietmar Schmidt

This year 2022 I realized, that it is hard for me to believe, that I started Shotokan Karate in Wiesbaden / Germany 60 years ago. Well, time goes by you can´t stop it.

BUDO CURRICULUM VITAE

(My importance occurrences):

- 1962 – 1972 Karate Do / Shotokan (Albrecht Pflüger) and
Taekwon Do / Tae Soo Do (Herbert Fritz) Wiesbaden / Germany
1966 I met Yutaka Toyama in Wiesbaden and through him realized the meaning of the Kata.

- 1974 – 2002 Zen Do Karate Tai Te Tao und Jiu Jitsu (Peter Jahnke und Lothar Sieber)
in Munich / Germany. Through Lothar Sieber 10.Dan (my real teacher) I learned
the techniques in the right way.

- 1984 – 2014 head master and chairman of the Jiu Jitsu und Karate Schule Penzberg e.V.

- 1998 Fudschijama - Ritterorden (knight order) from Idokan Europa, present from
H.Schöllauf 10.Dan in Vienna.
The 5.Dan for Zen Do Karate Tai Te Tao present from my teacher Lothar Sieber 10.Dan.

- 1998 moved to Greece and until today new opening for the J.J. and Zen Do Karate School Amarynthos.

- 2002 founder for a new karate system „Zendo Ryu Karate Do“.

- 2002-2013 Europe President of Idokan Europa International and follower of
H.Schöllauf 10.Dan in Vienna.

- 2004 write a book about Zendo Ryu Karate Do.

2020 and 2021:

As a result of COVID 19 we have unfortunately had to cancel our international seminars in 2020 and 2021, these were due to be held in Mrozy / Poland. Hopefully we will be able to run this in 2022.

2020:

2nd teacher seminar for our dan bearers in Athens Greece January 2020.
The planned 3rd and 4th teacher training seminars were cancelled due to COVID 19.
