Information

Every year (typically in May / June or July) we organise an international BUDO course in Europe. This course is open to all members and non-members, and provides an opportunity for us all to train together.

In addition to the international course, many national events are organised by our members throughout the year. These are typically open to all and so provide an opportunity to train with our members clubs.

We do not organize any competitions at our international events, and no cup winners are determined.

Our goal is to help bring Budo systems together to learn from each other, as well as to promote the exchange of ideas. Discovering commonalities and hearing and experiencing new words and teaching styles from other teachers (including their students) expands one's own experience.

We welcome all Budo systems, including teachers / dojos from all nations. At our international courses systems are able (by prior arrangement) to present their system to all.

We welcome likeminded Budokas from across Europe to share ideas and knowledge, and to provide the opportunity to create new networks and make new friends.

Many course participants are not members of our association and we do not actively recruit new members or seek to make a profit.

Of course, there is also the possibility to simply participate in our international seminars and no one has to teach or otherwise be active.

Everything with us is voluntary, everyone can get involved as they like and have fun.

Martial Arts:

Karate Do, Taekwondo: All styles and Budo systems are always warmly welcomed by us.

Tai Chi, Qi Gong: We have some active instructors in our association, but new styles and technical input are always welcome be beneficial for us all.

Iaido: We have Iaido instructors available, but we would like to improve the exchange of ideas and experiences. New teachers with their students would be very welcome.

Hapkido, Jiu Jitsu styles: All styles of Jiu Jitsu, Ken Jitsu, Hapkido and Kempo are invited to participate or introduce themselves at our international events.

Kobudo and other weapon systems: At the moment we do not have many Kobudo specialists and would be happy if anyone is interested in joining us so that we could expand our weapon system offering and provide instruction at our courses.

Capoeira: Capoeira is very popular with us and hope to find new teachers / schools.
